ConstructSafe is not a training course, but an online test of basic health and safety competency, with a mixture of 50 multi-choice and touch picture questions. Testing is done through an accredited testing centre with an accredited supervisor overseeing the testing - Professional Traffic Services is an accredited testing centre and can test your staff remotely off site, worksites or your business premises. We have three accredited supervisors available to test.
Many principal contractors already insist ConstructSafe be the recognised standard on their construction site and it is anticipated many will follow.
From 1st July 2017 the NZ Transport Agency mandated ConstructSafe Tier 1: Foundation Health and Safety Competency as the minimum entry requirement for entry across all contracts / work sites on State Highways.
ConstructSafe testing is delivered on tablets or iPads, with audio to assist candidates who may have limited literacy skills.
We can bring the electronic devices to you so your staff can complete the testing onsite - all you'll need is provide is somewhere suitable for your staff to site while they complete the test, or your staff can come to our training facility at 103 Tawa Street, Tawa Industrial Park, Melville, Hamilton
